FRÖTEK operates on a global scale with eight production sites worldwide. Our company has been founded in 1985 by Dipl. Ing. Bernhard Fröhlich and his wife Barbara Fröhlich in Bad Lauterberg im Harz. Since 1987, FRÖTEK headquarters is located in Osterode am Harz.

FRÖTEK development engineers are looking forward solving our customers challenges. Direct and detailed collaboration between our engineering experts and our customers R&D and purchasement is a keystone to success. Furthermore, we maintain frequent contact to universities and scientific institutions.
Our entire machine pool contains more than 100 injection moulding units with locking pressures from 10 up to 800 to as well as numerous automatic processing, assembly and test machines. Copper welding is carried out with 13 welding machines. For metal treatment, we apply waterjet- & lasercutting, bending, lasermarking, powdercoating, and punching. We operate two galvanic coating lines and provide Zn and Ni coatings of Cu and Al. In Germany and China, we also run a cleanroom production.
Of course, quality is our top priority. Since 2001 we have been certified according to ISO/TS 16949, today IATF 16949. For product qualification, our own laboratory can carry the majority of the validation tasks, supported occasionally by external laboratories.
Despite our recent growth and being an automotive Tier1-supplier, we have been able to maintain agility and speed. As a typical mid-size corporation characterized by lean and fast organizational structures, we are looking forward to supporting customer projects with competence and focus on costs, lead time and customer requirements.
